Data Science Intern

About the role

Turn our product and operational data into things the business can act on. You will work across the full analysis cycle — framing the question, pulling and cleaning the data, building the model or the dashboard, and explaining the result to people who are not statisticians.

What you'll do

• Write SQL against production data to answer questions from product and operations
• Build, validate and interpret models, and be honest about their uncertainty
• Create dashboards and visualisations that people actually use to make decisions
• Investigate data quality problems and help fix them at the source
• Present findings clearly to a non-technical audience

What we're looking for

• Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
• Strong SQL, and Python with pandas and numpy
• Grounding in statistics — you know why a result might be misleading
• Some experience visualising data, in any tool
• Bonus: scikit-learn, experiment design, or a dashboarding tool like Metabase or Power BI
