UI/UX Design Intern

About the role

Help shape how our products look and feel. You will work on real screens used by real customers — researching how people actually use what we built, sketching options, and following your designs through to what engineering ships. We care more about clear thinking than a polished portfolio.

What you'll do

• Design flows, wireframes and high-fidelity screens in Figma
• Contribute to and maintain our design system so the product stays consistent
• Sit in on user interviews and usability sessions, and turn what you hear into design changes
• Work directly with engineers through implementation, not just at hand-off
• Present your reasoning in design reviews and defend it with evidence

What we're looking for

• Pursuing a degree in Design, HCI, Fine Arts or a related field — or self-taught with work to show
• Confident in Figma, including components and auto-layout
• A portfolio showing your process, not only the final screens
• Understanding of layout, typography, hierarchy and accessible colour contrast
• Bonus: prototyping, motion design, or an eye for how designs get built in code
